Yep, there are lots of circumstances that might put you out of the market for a big ol' Liberty Fatboy or similar, big 600 pound, refrigerator-sized traditional gun safe. Maybe, for privacy reasons, you want to move the safe into place by yourself. Or, maybe you've got a tight doorway or stairs to get up. Many of us have limited space for a gun safe.and if you're married, the "allowable" spots you can put a safe dwindle dramatically. That's all well and good, unless size, weight and logistical considerations make a giant, 700 pound gun safe impractical. One thing I really like is it comes with the door organizer, which you might have to pay extra for on other Liberty safes. The other half has 3 shelves for different things like ammo, valuables and gun accessories. The reality is it is a 15 gun safe in the mixed use configuration, which is how most would probably use it. I did a lot of research and you will not find a better deal for a fire rated (40 minutes) long gun safe that is also Made in America. Just purchased the Liberty Revere 30 gun safe from Tractor Supply on sale for $629. I know a few of you may be in the market for a new gun safe.
